What's the difference between TallyPrime Silver and TallyPrime Gold?
TallyPrime Silver is a single-user license, built for small businesses, freelancers, and consultants running Tally on one computer. TallyPrime Gold is the multi-user edition, designed for growing businesses that need multiple people working in Tally at the same time over a local network.
What is TallyPrime Server, and who needs it?
TallyPrime Server is built for medium to large enterprises with high concurrent usage — typically 10+ users like billing staff, accountants, and auditors accessing data simultaneously. It adds features like live session monitoring, the ability to disconnect inactive users, and stronger data security than a standard multi-user LAN setup.
What is TSS, and why do I need to renew it?
TSS (Tally Software Services) is what keeps your TallyPrime license active and connected. Without a current TSS renewal, you stop receiving statutory updates — like new GST rules — and lose access to connected features like e-invoicing, e-way bills, and remote access.
Can you access your Tally data outside the office?
Yes, through TallyPrime Cloud. It lets you and your team access the same TallyPrime company data securely from anywhere — useful for businesses with multiple branches or staff who travel often.
Can Tally send invoices and remainders over WhatsApp?
Yes. TallyPrime WhatsApp integration lets you share invoices directly with clients over WhatsApp from within Tally, and can also be used to send automated payment reminders — removing the need to manually call or message clients.
What does "Tally Customization" actually include?
Tally customization means building features beyond Tally’s default setup, using TDL (Tally Definition Language). This covers custom invoice formats and branding, industry-specific workflows (like batch tracking or job costing), custom MIS reports, and integrations with other business systems.
Do we provide training if your team is new to Tally?
Yes. AtTally offers Tally Training as a dedicated service, helping staff—including those without an accounting or IT background—get comfortable using TallyPrime for day-to-day billing and reporting. Also we conduct online and offline seminar to explain what new features added in TallyPrime and how to use them.
What kind of ongoing support do we offer if something breaks?
Tally Support covers troubleshooting, custom compliance-ready reports, and both online and on-site help. The focus is on fast response and keeping your system compliant, not just fixing issues after they happen.
Do we offer HR and payroll software alongside Tally?
